Coach Tom has played the game for the past 31 years between College and Club lacrosse. He started playing Lacrosse at Denison University (Arch Rival school to Ohio Wesleyan, Coach J.C. played there) in 1976 as a defenseman. He began coaching youth lacrosse 9 years ago with Coach J.C. as part of the Eastside youth program. Tom started coaching with the Eastside Girls Youth Lacrosse program 2 years later. Several of the players he coached have gone on to play in college. Two have been picked up by Division I programs with one attending Syracuse University. Tom holds true that the fundamentals are key to a successful player and team. Team is very important in the game of lacrosse. "We need to honor the game and all those who have come before us that have made this game what it is today."
